In the course, we will focus on the difference and complementarity of Monitoring and evaluation systems with Information Management, what “doing MEAL” means during the life cycle of a Project, how to integrate Accountability considerations to promote the responsible management of activities, as well as an ever-increasing participation of those who benefit from it. The course is aimed at all those who work on projects in the humanitarian or development sector, both as project managers and as technical representatives (in the health, protection or other sectors), and who are interested in improving the quality of the intervention through the implementation of monitoring and evaluation systems. The course will be held in English, and the teaching materials will be in English as well.

Three good reasons to enrol in this course

  1. You will learn how to structure correct data management, taking into consideration principles of confidentiality and Data Protection.
  2. You will learn the most frequent difficulties in integrating MEAL activities into the normal course of the Project, and how to mitigate them.
  3. You will learn what steps to follow to set up an effective and efficient data collection and analysis system.
