INTERSOS announces the coming into effect of the Quality Assurance Policy in Greece
The final and essential judge of our services’ quality are our beneficiaries. Our policy aims to prescribe how we will consistently meet our services’ quality, our obligations to staff, suppliers, and society as a whole.
INTERSOS is committed to the reliable provision of services and the absolute satisfaction of its beneficiaries’ needs through an organizational environment, which aims at the continuous improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the Quality Management System. The Organisation treats all its beneficiaries through the same prism, considering that all have high-quality requirements, which must be met.
Within the framework of the Quality Assurance Policy, the Management sets specific key quality objectives, which are reviewed at regular intervals and which aim at the following:
- Improving the quality of services offered.
- Improving service speed.
- Minimize service execution problems.

- Confirmation that the Processes of the Organization work effectively.
In particular, INTERSOS policy is:
- To offer solidarity services to populations at risk of death and in conditions of hunger and collective misery due to extreme poverty, natural disasters, or the catastrophic consequences of human actions. Its interventions intend to lay the foundations for the initiation of development processes. It aims to mobilize society around the values of solidarity and brotherhood between peoples, without prejudices, basing its efforts on every human being’s values, fundamental rights, and dignity.
- To always comply with the current legislation and in particular with what is determined by the Tax regime in force in Greece and the European Union in general.

For the implementation of the Quality Policy, the Organisation operates with the following principles:
- Every employee is responsible for the quality of his work.
- All employees are fully informed about the Organization’s Quality Management System and take care of its implementation.
- Employees have at their disposal, the Quality Policy, which is kept informed as documented information, communicated and understood to them.
- The Organization provides all the necessary resources (equipment, material, training, etc.) to achieve the Q.M.S.’s objectives.
- The Organization has set goals that it records and analyzes for continuous improvement.
- All actions, which may affect the quality and security of information, are planned and implemented following the institutionalized Procedures, which have been developed based on the, by process approach of the Q.M.S.
- All control elements are analyzed and used in a continuous effort to improve the Q.M.S.
- The Organization has appointed a Quality Assurance Officer, who reports to the Management and has the jurisdiction and organizational independence to ensure that the Organization’s Q.M.S. operates and is observed under the ISO 9001: 2015 standard.
The way we use to control these Procedures is:
- The precise definition of responsibilities for each process or part of it.
- Maintaining written documentation of how all the tasks are performed (manuals, detailed procedures, instructions, etc.).
- Maintaining written documentation that proves the compliance of the functions of the Q.M.S. with the international standards.
- The Inspection of the implementation of the above through monitoring the quality performance and the internal evaluation.
- The Organization learning from its mistakes will systematically ensure that they are not repeated (with corrective actions) and continuously improve its functions by setting, monitoring, and achieving specific improvement goals.
